OneLog – The Swiss media login has received the Digital Trust Label. With this, OneLog as well as its shareholders underline the importance of digital responsibility and users benefit from a trustworthy digital service verified by external experts. Silvano Oeschger, CEO of OneLog, says: “Especially in the media environment, transparency and trust are crucial, not only in terms of reporting, but also in the handling of data. Over 2 million users from more than 40 media brands can rely on the fact that data transmission at OneLog is fully encrypted and secure, and that their data is stored according to strict guidelines. We are proud that our commitment has been awarded the Digital Trust Label.”

The Digital Trust Label was developed by the Swiss Digital Initiative Foundation, originally launched as a project by digitalswitzerland. The aim of the Digital Trust Label is to promote trust in digital services. The Digital Trust Label evaluates web-based products based on 35 criteria in the categories of security, data protection, reliability and fair user interaction. The criteria catalog was developed by the Label Expert Committee under the leadership of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) on the basis of several public consultations. Thanks to the Digital Trust Label, users of web-based products can easily make a clear and understandable assessment of trustworthiness.

Companies that have also already received the Digital Trust Label in Switzerland include Wefox, Cisco (Webex), Swisscom (e-Seal) and Swiss Re (Magnum Go ).

The Digital Trust Label represents a practical contribution to bringing Swiss traditions and values into the digital world and serves as a starting point for a global movement towards digital responsibility.
