Marieke is an international HR leader with a successful track record in business transformations in multinational companies and management consultancy. Her areas of expertise include business partnering, organizational transformations, change management, leadership development and coaching. She is passionate about the future of work and unlocking people's potential through coaching. Marieke joined Ringier AG on August 1st, 2024 as Chief People Officer.
Before joining Ringier, Marieke was part of the CEO Transformation team at The Adecco Group and responsible for group-wide organizational redesign and culture transformation. Prior to this, she was responsible for HR in Northern Europe and DACH at The Adecco Group also based in Zurich. Prior to this, she has worked for AkzoNobel and Kingfisher Group in various HR roles. She started her career as a management consultant with WTW, formerly known as Towers Perrin. She has lived and worked in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands and Switzerland and speaks Dutch, English, German and French. She holds a Master of Law (LL.M) and a Master of Science in International Business (MSc). She is a certified professional Co-Active Coach (CCPC), Birkman Certified Professional and a Gallup StrenghtsFinder Coach.
