A BOLA and PÚBLICO join forces to offer generalist and sports content of excellence

The joint e-paper is just the first step in a series of initiatives that will be announced soon.

A BOLA, a leading sports newspaper in Portugal, and PÚBLICO, one of the country’s main generalist newspapers, have joined forces in a strategic partnership that aims to provide readers the best information content on different platforms. This innovative collaboration aims to combine the strength and tradition of both brands with an enriching and diverse experience for their audiences.

The start of the partnership will be marked by the launch of a joint e-paper, an offer that will allow readers to access exclusive content from A BOLA and PÚBLICO for an initial period of three months at a competitive price. This is just the first step in a series of initiatives that will be announced soon, including new ways of consuming content that go beyond the printed newspaper and digital.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership that brings together two iconic brands in Portuguese journalism,” says Luis Pedro Ferreira, Editorial Director of A BOLA. “With our ability to produce content on a print, digital and video level, we believe that this collaboration will allow us to create a unique experience for our readers, integrating the best of sports and general news.”

David Pontes, Editorial Director of PÚBLICO, adds: “This strategic alliance with A BOLA is a milestone in our path of innovation. Together, we will offer a more robust and diversified product that meets the needs of an increasingly demanding audience eager for quality content.”
