MyProperty.ph was jointly established by Ringier and the Philippines-based media group Summit Media in 2010. The two companies rapidly developed their new portal that soon became one of the country’s leading real-estate classified platforms. Its current listings total more than 174,000 properties. The decision to sell MyProperty.ph to Lamudi, which operates real-estate portals in more than 30 markets, is based on strategic considerations. Ringier does not operate any other business in the Philippines.
Following completion of the sale, Lamudi intends to continue operating both the MyProperty.ph website and its own Lamudi.com.ph platform as independent portals in their own right.
