Vladimir Filipović appointed Editor-in-Chief of sportal.rs

As of June 1st, Vladimir Filipović, Executive Editor of sportal.rs, will take over the role of Editor-in-Chief from Predrag Mihailović​, who will assume an international leadership role as Chief Transformation Officer at sportal.rs' parent company, Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG)​.

Under Predrag Mihailović’s ​editorial and management leadership, sportal.rs was launched in May 2022 and immediately became the leading sports media platform in Serbia. After two years of operation, sportal.rs is considered an indispensable factor in the sports media industry, as a partner of the most important organizations, federations, sports and competitions. With more than 3.6 million users and over 26 million page views per month, sportal.rs regularly leads the list of the most used sports media.

Vladimir Filipović has been a member of sportal.rs’s editorial team since its foundation, and has been working in journalism since 2013. At the beginning of his career, he covered foreign policy, conducting dozens of interviews with numerous world and regional officials, reporting from the war in Syria, and then through video production, he finally came to sports, which is after all his first love. He has been the editor of paid content on Blic, the editor-in-chief of Blic sport, and the executive editor of sportal.rs since its foundation. He especially follows English football, but also the Euroleague. He started his journalistic career at Blic, where he has been working since the beginning of 2014.
