In its new structure, Sportal.hu will combine its established editorial strength with cutting-edge technology. The platform is launched with a completely reengineered frontend to boost user experience and unlock innovative advertising opportunities – ensuring fans receive fast, immersive, and premium sports content. This shift enables a sharper market profile while retaining the advantages of being embedded in RSMG’s eight-country network.
Driving this evolution forward is Adam Cselleng, who has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief. A seasoned journalist and digital innovator, Adam Cselleng previously led Sportal.hu’s video department and has successfully helmed the editorial team on an interim basis since January 2025. His appointment confirms the company’s confidence in his leadership and vision for the next phase of growth.
Otto Kiss, Managing Director of Sportal.hu: “The sports media landscape is evolving rapidly – and so must we. This transformation will allow us to better serve our audience with deeper, more engaging sports coverage while maintaining the journalistic standards we stand for. I’ve been particularly impressed with Adam Cselleng’s performance since he stepped in as interim Editor-in-Chief. His leadership has been decisive, collaborative, and forward-looking. Making his role permanent is a natural step that aligns perfectly with our long-term strategy.”
To reflect its new identity, Sportal.hu is also preparing a URL change set to take effect today, reinforcing its independent brand positioning and digital agility.
Sportal.hu’s transformation marks a decisive step toward becoming Hungary’s most dynamic digital destination for sports news, storytelling, and fan engagement.
