Ringier Romania sets course for the future: Focused leadership structure around Business Units Media and Collectibles

Ringier is realigning its operational structure in Romania around two strong, dedicated Business Units: Media and Collectibles. Effective immediately, Madalina Radulescu is appointed Executive Director Ringier Romania, assuming overall operational leadership of the business while directly heading the Media unit. Parallel to this, Dana Costache is appointed Head of Collectibles Business & Operations to drive the strategic expansion of this second key business pillar. Current General Manager Andrei Bereanda is stepping down at his own request to pursue a new executive opportunity outside the media industry.

In her new role as Executive Director, Madalina Radulescu, previously Editorial Director overseeing leading media brands including Libertatea, Unica, ELLE, and VIVA!,  holds overarching operational responsibility for Ringier in Romania. In addition to her country-wide management, she will directly steer the core Media unit, driving business strategy, product development, and commercial growth across the portfolio. She will report directly to Michael Moersch, CEO Ringier Media International.

To further accelerate growth in diversified business lines, Dana Costache, previously Operations Director, is appointed Head of Collectibles Business & Operations. In this role, she will lead the dedicated Collectibles unit, focusing on the strategic expansion of the add-on and collectibles business under Madalina Radulescu’s overall executive leadership.

Transition in Management

Current General Manager Andrei Bereanda is stepping down at his own request to pursue a new executive leadership opportunity outside the media industry. Having significantly shaped the realignment and transformation of the Romanian business in recent years, he will remain in his role until September 30 to ensure a smooth handover.

Michael Moersch, CEO Ringier Media International: “On behalf of Ringier, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Andrei Bereanda for his outstanding commitment, strategic vision, and successful leadership. He has driven Ringier Romania forward as a leading digital media house, marked by continuous innovation and the development of exceptional talent. Andrei successfully built the strong, consolidated management team he now leaves behind. We wish him all the very best for his next career step outside the media industry. With this new structure, we are deliberately relying on proven talent from within our own organization. Both Madalina Radulescu and Dana Costache have consistently demonstrated the deep expertise, vision, and drive required to take our business to the next level. I am confident that this setup will perfectly position Ringier Romania for sustainable future growth.”
