Ringier Areal

Ringier Areal, located in Zofingen, is owned by the media companies Ringier and NZZ. Ringier Areal emerged from Swissprinters, the largest offset printing company in Switzerland. At the end of 2024, printing operations had to be ceased for economic reasons after more than 100 years.
Construction Project
The company's area covers around 55'000 m2 at a central and highly attractive location, directly next to the train station in Zofingen. A construction project for a residential development with over 200 apartments has been developed for the western part of the area, which is to be realized by a third-party investor. The selection of investors is expected to be completed in 2025.
To further strengthen the innovation site of Zofingen, Ringier Areal is currently driving a site development project for the eastern part of the area with the historic main building.
