New structure: Claude Ansermoz and Manon Bornand to co-lead Ringier Media Switzerland in French-speaking Switzerland

Ringier Media Switzerland is restructuring its organization in French-speaking Switzerland: as of January 2026, Claude Ansermoz and Manon Bornand will jointly lead RMS Romandie. They will succeed Thomas Deléchat, who will leave the company after a transition period.

Ringier Media Switzerland (RMS) is reorganizing its structure in French-speaking Switzerland. As of 1 January 2026, Claude Ansermoz will assume editorial responsibility for all RMS media brands in the Romandie as Co-Head RMS Romandie and Editor-in-Chief RMS Romandie.

He will form a leadership duo with Manon Bornand, who will serve as Co-Head RMS Romandie, responsible for Digital & Marketing. Both will report directly to Max Buder, Chief Commercial Officer of RMS, further strengthening the close collaboration between the teams in Lausanne and Zurich.

Thomas Deléchat, the current Head of RMS Romandie, will support Claude Ansermoz and Manon Bornand during a transition period until spring 2026 before leaving the company on his own accord.

Having joined the Ringier Group in 2015, he led the digital and commercial innovation of Le Temps before co-founding the French-speaking Blick newsroom with Michel Jeanneret in 2020. In 2023, he brought together the newsrooms of Blick, L’illustré, and PME as well as the digital and marketing teams under a single structure, which he has led since. Through his strategic vision, commitment, and innovative mindset, he played a key role in shaping Ringier’s media activities in the Romandie.

This reorganisation marks another milestone in the development of RMS in French-speaking Switzerland. The goal is to strengthen collaboration between brands, integrate digital expertise more closely, and further promote the targeted use of artificial intelligence within the newsrooms.

Claude Ansermoz is an experienced journalist and media manager. Over two decades, he shaped the newsroom of 24 Heures, where he served as Editor-in-Chief from 2017 to 2024. In 2012, he received a Swiss Press Award. At RMS Romandie, he will be responsible for the content of L’illustré, PME, Blick Romandie Sport, and News of Blick.ch/fr, as well as the print production unit. He will also head a team of senior journalists tasked with developing cross-editorial content and fostering synergies across newsrooms.

Manon Bornand, Head of Digital, Innovation & Marketing RMS Romandie since June 2024, is a recognised specialist in editorial branding and content distribution. With her deep understanding of audience behaviour, platform dynamics, and emerging trends, she connects media brands with their audiences in meaningful ways. She will now lead the Blick.ch/fr Web Desk, the Digital & Innovation, Brand & Marketing, Events & Partnerships and Video & Social Media Production in the Romandie.

Max Buder, Member of the Executive Board of RMS and Chief Commercial Officer: “With Claude Ansermoz, we are welcoming an outstanding journalist with strong leadership experience. Together with Manon Bornand, he will shape the next chapter of our activities in French-speaking Switzerland — in close coordination with our teams in Lausanne and Zurich. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Thomas Deléchat, who has built and developed the Romandie organisation with remarkable energy and vision over the past years.”

Thomas Deléchat: “For more than ten years, I’ve had the privilege of leading major projects within the Ringier Group’s newsrooms. Co-founding and developing Blick Romandie has been one of my most rewarding experiences. I leave this great company with confidence and enthusiasm – convinced that Claude and Manon will successfully lead the further development of RMS in French-speaking Switzerland.”
