Hilda Kabushenga was nominated for her outstanding leadership and pioneering work in the fields of leadership and innovation and is now officially part of this group of young leaders from politics, business, civil society, art and science, all of whom are united in their commitment to sustainable change. Back in 2024, Petra Ehmann, Ringier’s Chief Innovation and AI Officer, was honored to be accepted into the World Economic Forum’s Class of YGLs.
This year, the YGL-Forum celebrates its 21st anniversary. It is a unique community committed to significant, positive change around the world in areas as diverse as public health, economic development, technology and sustainability. Throughout its history, the YGL community has produced leaders who have gone on to become Pulitzer Prize winners, UN ambassadors, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and even heads of state. The members of the Young Global Leader Class of 2025 will undergo a three-year program focused on developing their leadership skills. This program offers extensive opportunities for training and exchange with leading experts in various industries and regions. The focus is on improving management skills and promoting innovation and collaboration.

The Ugandan executive Hilda Kabushenga has served as the CEO of TATC since 2022, leading crossfunctional teams across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda, addressing one of Africa’s most pressing challenges – labour market efficiency. TATC is part of Ringier`s International Marketplaces Division under the leadership of Axel Konjack, Head Global Marketplaces and Member of the Ringier Group Executive Board. From 2020 onwards Hilda served as Managing Director of Ringier One Media Africa (ROAM) and from 2019-2020 as CEO of Jobberman Nigeria, the country’s leading recruitment platform and part of the RIMU portfolio. Before that, Hilda was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company’s Lagos office, advising private and public sector clients on strategy, human capital, talent management, and organizational transformation. She also worked for KPMG as a consultant.
