Changes to the Board of Directors of Ringier AG

With the election of Nancy Cruickshank and Anna Mossberg, the Board of Directors of Ringier AG is further expanding its digital and technological expertise, sending a clear signal for the continuation of the digital transformation of the media and technology company, which is globally active in 19 countries.

At the Annual General Meeting of Ringier AG, Nancy Cruickshank and Anna Mossberg were elected by the shareholders as new members of the Board of Directors of Ringier AG.

Anna Mossberg started her career in 1996 at the Swedish telecommunications group Telia, where she held many different operative positions. In 2010 she became CEO of the internet provider Bahnhof, in 2012 Senior Vice President Strategy and Portfolio Management of Deutsche Telekom, and in 2015 member of the management team of Google Sweden. From March 2021 to February 2022, Anna Mossberg served as Managing Director of Silo AI, the largest Scandinavian AI lab. She serves as a board member at Volvo Cars, Swedbank AB, Swisscom AG, and global FMCG company Orkla ASA. Previously, she was a board member of Schibsted ASA. Anna Mossberg serves as a member of the Axcel Management Advisory Board and the Impact Forum for Sustainability board of the World Economic Forum. Anna Mossberg has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Luleå University of Technology and Executive MBAs from Stanford and IE University.

Nancy Cruickshank is Operating Partner at Exponent PE, where she successfully chairs the portfolio companies GoCity and Wowcher. Her previous positions include Chief Digital Officer at Carlsberg Group and Non-Executive Director at renowned companies such as TelecityGroup, one of Europe’s most successful technology companies. As a serial technology entrepreneur and executive, Nancy Cruickshank has an impressive track record: Her startup MyShowcase was named one of the 15 fastest growing startups in the UK. She previously founded Condé Nast online in 1996. Cruickshank was also a key architect in the development of Handbag.com, the market leader in fashion and beauty, and led the Telegraph Media Group’s digital business. Nancy Cruickshank holds a BA in History from Leeds University.

In the 2023/2024 term of office, the Board of Directors of Ringier AG will thus be composed of Chairman Michael Ringier, Vice Chairman Uli Sigg, and the members Roman Bargezi, Urs Berger, Claudio Cisullo, Nancy Cruickshank, Lukas Gähwiler, Anna Mossberg, Prof. Felix Oberholzer-Gee and Michèle Rodoni.
