The Ringier Romania Foundation was established in 2008. In its early years, it developed various social responsibility projects in education and culture. Since 2012 the foundation’s main focus has been to aid severely sick children in need of medical care. 400 children have benefited from campaigns raising money for treatments or complex surgical interventions they could not afford without financial support. The foundation’s mission is to provide every child the right to proper medical care, giving them a chance at a better life and opportunities for treatment and recovery.
