City Weekend Parents & Kids launched the 2014 annual Art & Writing Competition Awards Ceremony on January 25th at Grand Millennium Shanghai Hongqiao. We received over 750 submitted artworks themed “Animal Magic” this year. More than 50 nominee families came to attend this ceremony. Managing Editor, Nick Withycombe, made the speech on behalf of City Weekend Parents & Kids, and gave away all the certificates and prizes with hosts.
There were various sponsors supported this event, such as Grand Millennium Shanghai Hongqiao, Viva Nutrition United Family Healthcare, the Edge Education, Uber, Glassy Studio and other gift & food sponsors including Meji, JS Juice. We’d like to mention Glassy Studio that they took use of City Weekend covers and pages to present a magic goat horn in a heart-shape on site and Little Urban Centre who led children dancing at the stage with a happy ending.
