The current Chief Legal officer, Adrian Dudle (54), has decided to leave the company at the end of September. As head of the central legal department, Dudle actively supported Ringier throughout its transformation phase – including expanding the Group internationally, setting up various joint ventures and developing the internal control system.

He informed me in spring that, after eight intense years at Ringier, he would like to start a new chapter in his career. I would like to thank Adrian Dudle wholeheartedly and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.’ Adrian Dudle: ‘I would like to thank the Ringier family, the Board of Directors and the Group Executive Board for the confidence placed in me. To start off with for now, I’m going to dedicate myself to my Board of Directors and Foundation Board mandates – and my dear old book project.’
Manuel Liatowitsch (48) has been a partner at the renowned Zurich-based Schellenberg Wittmer law firm since 2008 and a member of the Management Committee since 2015. In addition to specialising in complex ownership, estate and governance disputes internationally, he has also made a name for himself advising large family-owned companies. ‘The Ringier Group will benefit from having an internationally successful legal expert like Manuel Liatowitsch, who is among the most renowned litigation lawyers in Europe,’ says Ringier CEO Marc Walder. Liatowitsch studied at and holds a doctorate from the University of Basel, and has regularly given lectures at the University of Zurich since 2005.
