Ringier appoints Jessica Scholz as Group Chief Marketing Officer
Jessica Scholz, previously International Digital Director and responsible for the globally operating User Marketing & Technology team, will become the new Group-wide Chief Marketing Officer of the Ringier Group. Under her leadership, the Global Marketing team will provide strategic guidance, collaboration, knowledge sharing and Group-wide solutions to ensure that local marketing teams are optimally equipped. Jessica Scholz will report to Group Executive Board member Ladina Heimgartner, Head Global Media and CEO of Blick Group.

As Head of Online Marketing for the emerging markets of the Ringier portfolio, Jessica Scholz started her career at Ringier 2013. Before joining the international unit in 2018 to lead the User Marketing & Technology team, she was Chief Marketing Officer of the African Marketplaces Group Ringier One Africa Media (ROAM) for two years. Jessica Scholz's professional career led her to the Berlin start-up scene, where she worked for one of the largest incubators, among others. Born in Australia, she studied marketing, media and communication, management and sociology at the University of Wollongong.
