When it was first founded, the media company achieved its first success with the TV guide Tvr-hét and Lakáskultúra magazine. The women’s magazine Kiskegyed set a new press record with a paid circulation of 600,000, and its popularity remains undiminished to this day. Successful brand expansions include the launches of Kiskegyed Gyöngy, Kiskegyed Konyhája, Kiskegyed Otthona, Kiskegyed Fitt, Kiskegyed Rejtvény and Kiskegyed Recepttár. Kiskegyed.hu is one of the country’s most popular online magazines. Blikk is the country’s leading daily newspaper and was owned by Ringier Kiadó before being incorporated into Ringier Axel Springer Hungary. The firm had been active on the Hungarian media market since 1993 and was one of its biggest media companies. The company’s highest circulation brand was the leading daily newspaper Blikk, or blikk.hu. In 2009, Blikk celebrated its 15th birthday, the first edition of the new monthly food magazine Blikk Nők Konyha, and the publication of the women’s magazine Blikk Nők. As an expansion of the Blikk Nők brand, Blikk Nők Egészség was launched in 2010 with a focus on health and lifestyle topics.
