Zw\u00f6lf davon, je drei pro Sprachregion, wurden von der Jury in die n\u00e4chste Runde geschickt. Die Schweizerinnen und Schweizer w\u00e4hlten aus jeder Sprachregion ihr Favoritendorf und damit Ardez (GR), Binn (VS), Morcote (TI) und Saint-Ursanne (JU) direkt in die Finalrunde. Am Ende schaffte es Morcote, das malerische Dorf am Hang des Luganersees, mit grossem Abstand auf Platz 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr Stefan Regez, Co-Chefredaktor&nbsp;<em>Schweizer Illustrierte<\/em>, kommt das Wahlergebnis nicht ganz \u00fcberraschend: \u00abMorcote ist ein Tessiner Bilderbuch-Dorf. Die engen Gassen, die farbigen H\u00e4user, die Palmen und die traumhafte Lage am Lago di Lugano l\u00f6sen automatisch Ferienstimmung aus. Doch am aussergew\u00f6hnlichsten sind die Dorfbewohner selbst. Sie wollten die Wahl unbedingt gewinnen. Dank einer grossen Werbekampagne in Form von Plakaten und Flyern, die in allen regionalen Hotels und Restaurants aufgelegt wurden und zum Mitmachen motivierten, gelang es den Bewohnern, eine gewaltige Mehrheit an Stimmen zu mobilisieren. Ein enormer Einsatz, ein verdienter Sieg. Herzliche Gratulation, Morcote!\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nat\u00fcrlich verlangt ein solcher Sieg nach einer tollen Feier. Die 731 Einwohner des ehemaligen Fischerdorfes werden von der&nbsp;<em>Schweizer Illustrierten<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>L&#8217;illustr\u00e9<\/em>&nbsp;und&nbsp;<em>Il Caff\u00e8<\/em>&nbsp;zu einem grossen Fest eingeladen. Nicola Brivio, B\u00fcrgermeister von Morcote zum Sieg: \u00abWir sind unglaublich stolz und f\u00fchlen uns geehrt. Das ganze Dorf steht hinter dieser Wahl und jeder hat seinen Teil dazu beigetragen!\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Aktion \u00abSch\u00f6nstes Dorf der Schweiz 2016\u00bb wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit den Wettbewerbspartnern&nbsp;<em>Volg<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>McOptik<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Kneipp<\/em>&nbsp;und&nbsp;<em>Riposa<\/em>&nbsp;durchgef\u00fchrt. Insgesamt wurden bei der Wahl \u00fcber 31\u2018000 Stimmen abgegeben.
