Ringier Switzerland primarily holds shares in other companies operating in the entertainment sector and digital business. In the printing segment Ringier Switzerland holds a 58 percent share in Swissprinters.
Ringier holds shares in select companies in Central Europe and publishes for example the newspaper, Népszabadság in Hungary. Ringier has also held shares in Edipresse SA Romania since 2011.
In Asia, Ringier closely co-operates with local partners and produces a wide range of well-known titles, such as a Chinese culinary magazine Betty's Kitchen and the Vietnamese edition of ELLE magazine.
In 2010, Ringier and Axel Springer launched the joint venture Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, focusing on Central Europe with a output of over 70 print publications and more than 60 online products.
